TEACHER GAME CHANGER ALERT 🚨 🌟 As the weather warms up and the allure of summer grows stronger, it’s easy for our minds to wander. @everfik12 Understanding Mental Wellness unit is the solution to reeling my students back in and finishing off the school year strong. ➡️🩷 From identifying emotions to practicing mindfulness techniques, the Student Activities section offers invaluable resources that have transformed my students’ learning experiences. 💡 🤯 One lesson in particular, #everfi ‘Signs of Needing Support,’ sparked powerful conversations about mental health. We explored visible and internal emotions, delving into triggers and strategies for staying present. Through guided meditation, the 1-2-3-4 color method, and box breathing exercises, my students have gained tools to navigate their emotions and stay focused on school during the homestretch to summer. 🧠💪 Now, we incorporate these activities 3-4 times a week, ensuring that our classroom is a space where mental wellness is prioritized. And the best part? Oh, you know, just some #classroomdecor pics from September that I’ve been meaning to share for 6.5 months 🤷🏼‍♀️ I want everyone who walks into my room to feel welcome, happy, and loved 🥰 Our ✨Good Vibes✨ wall is my favorite, interactive, ever-evolving part of the classroom. I invited any student who has class in my room to bring in pictures of things that make them happy. The pics are hanging at the front of the room for encouragement & support.
